Community Ventures welcomes Fran DeVasto as the new president of the organization’s lending division. Most recently serving as a VP with JP Morgan Chase & Co., she brings over 30 years of industry experience to her new position with CV. Mark Johnson, former president of lending, is shifting roles in the company in order to focus on more creative initiatives being spearheaded by Community Ventures.
“Fran comes to us with years of experience and the right motivation to step into this role with a passion unmatched by her peers,” said Kevin Smith, CEO of Community Ventures. “Both Fran and Mark are vital to the life of this organization and these individuals will bring new energy to their respective roles in the company.”
Originally from Northern Kentucky, DeVasto is returning back to her home state from Jacksonville, Florida, where she served for many years with JP Morgan Chase & Co. Most recently, DeVasto served as the VP of Project Management – Mortgage Operations and National Sales Administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, and is the recipient of numerous leadership and service awards. DeVasto’s extensive experience in mortgage banking sales, operations, administration and project management are a much welcomed addition to the staff of Community Ventures as the President of Lending.
