Jon Brooks serves as Real Estate Project Manager at Community Ventures, where he supports a broad range of commercial real estate and housing-related initiatives, including Western Kentucky projects under Bart’s leadership, organization of the housing rental portfolio, and project management support.
Before joining Community Ventures, Jon worked at Fahe managing federally funded grants from application through closeout, with specific expertise in CDBG administration, NEPA environmental reviews, and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. Born and raised in Powell County, Kentucky, in the Red River Gorge area, Jon graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in 2022 after completing his degree in three years while playing football and remaining active in campus ministries.
He chose nonprofit work because of his interest in community development and his desire to help bring economic opportunity to Kentucky, and he now lives in Richmond with his wife, Kelsey, and their two sons, Wesley and Hayes.
