Women in Business Expo Inspires, Equips Entrepreneurs


LONDON, KY (March 11, 2025) – On Tuesday, March 25th, the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky (WBC) will again host the ‘Women in Business’ Expo in London, Kentucky. The event welcomes all aspiring and existing small business owners, offering those in the southeastern region of the Commonwealth a chance to access beneficial information and connect with service providers close to home. The expo focuses on providing small business owners and community leaders the knowledge and tools they need to achieve success.

 

“We are dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs with the resources, knowledge, and network they need to thrive. Whether you’re launching a new venture or scaling an existing business, this expo is designed to inspire and support your journey to success,” said Devanny King, Executive Director of the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky. “I am grateful to all of our sponsors, speakers and exhibitors for their support in equipping these entrepreneurs, setting the stage for their success and contributing to the strengthening of Kentucky’s economy.”

 

This expo brings together seasoned business owners and proven leaders with the goal of inspiring and enabling hopeful entrepreneurs through insightful workshops and compelling panel discussions. In a keynote address, Ashli Watts, President and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber, will provide insights on ‘Unlocking Your Potential.’

 

Attendees will enjoy a variety of workshops on such relevant topics as Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, Next-Level Marketing: Scaling Your Business in the Digital Age, Digital Foundations: Building Your Online Presence From the Ground Up and Financial Management for Women Entrepreneurs.

 

The event will close with a talk titled Demystifying A.I., presented by Amanda Kelly, Small Business Training Director with SKED, and leadership development expert Dr. Jordyne Carmack, Founder of AuthentiLead.

 

Additionally, the expo offers access to a collective of small business resource providers and lending institutions while also giving participants the opportunity to network with other local and regional entrepreneurs over coffee.

 

Held at the London Community Center, 529 South Main St., London, the event begins at 9 a.m. ET and runs until 2 p.m. Admission is $25, which includes morning coffee and pastries as well as lunch.

 

The WBC, supported by the SBA and Community Ventures, is pleased to partner with Truist, the Thryv Foundation, The Center at Kentucky Highlands, Mountain Association and Awesome Inc. to present the 2025 Women in Business Expo.
