Community Ventures is pleased to welcome Edward “Eddie” Quiñones to the team, where he will support economic development in Owensboro and the surrounding region by working directly with new and existing small business owners.
Eddie brings more than 30 years of retail, customer service, sales, and business banking experience to his role. His background includes nearly a decade as a Small Business Banker with U.S. Bank, where he managed a portfolio of more than 125 small business clients, opened new accounts, processed loans, supported business owners with financial services, and built strong long-term customer relationships.
In his new role with Community Ventures, Eddie will help entrepreneurs access the technical assistance and working capital they need to strengthen, grow, and sustain their businesses.
“I really look forward to assisting future and current small business owners with funding otherwise not accessible,” Eddie shared.
Eddie has already begun building meaningful connections across the Owensboro region. He has partnered with the Small Business Development Center in Owensboro and South Evansville, local bank branches, and the local Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, he became an ambassador with the Owensboro Chamber, further strengthening his ability to connect business owners with resources, relationships, and opportunities.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, his approach is simple and sincere: treat every customer like family and provide the kind of thoughtful, attentive service people deserve.
“I have a passion for helping customers reach their goals and dreams when it comes to business ownership,” Eddie said. “I treat all customers like family and always provide the best VIP customer service our customers deserve.”
Outside of work, Eddie’s life is full of faith, family, and a deep appreciation for Kentucky. He and his wife, Adrienne, relocated from San Diego to Kentucky six years ago to be closer to his parents. Together, they have four adopted children, three grandchildren, and three dogs: two Rottweilers and a Doberman. Eddie also enjoys fishing, disc golf, playing drums, and staying grounded in his faith.
