Creating 119 Jobs Greenville, Tennessee
In 2023, ERMCO undertook a $41.52 million project to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Greenville, Tennessee. Supported by $9 million in New Markets Tax Credit funds, with Chase Bank as the primary investor, this project is a key driver of local job creation and economic growth. The initiative resulted in 119 full-time equivalent jobs, with 40 new jobs created, 79 retained, and an additional 75 construction jobs generated during the process.
ERMCO acquired a 200,000 square foot vacant facility, formerly occupied by Caterpillar, and added 8,000 sq. ft. to accommodate the expansion of its production line for electrical transformers and components. This expansion is not only about increasing capacity but also reflects ERMCO’s commitment to environmental stewardship. As a leader in innovative and sustainable manufacturing, ERMCO continues to prioritize environmentally responsible practices, using cutting-edge technologies and robust recycling efforts to minimize its impact.
This project represents both economic revitalization for Greenville and ERMCO’s ongoing dedication to sustainable and responsible manufacturing.
