Women in Business Expo Equips Entrepreneurs

On Friday, February 28th, the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky (WBC) will again host the ‘Women in Business’ Expo in downtown Louisville. A keynote address by Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman highlights the event, which features a dynamic lineup of speakers coupled with vendors and exhibitors targeting entrepreneurs interested in starting or growing a small business. The expo focuses on equipping small business owners and community leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve entrepreneurial success.

“We are dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs with the resources, knowledge, and network they need to thrive. Whether you’re launching a new venture or scaling an existing business, this expo is designed to inspire and support your journey to success,” said Devanny King, Executive Director of the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky. “I am grateful to all of our sponsors, speakers and exhibitors for their support in empowering these entrepreneurs, setting the stage for their success and contributing to the strengthening of Kentucky’s economy.”

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. and running until 2:00 p.m. ET, the expo will be held at Biscuit Lounge, 120 S. 10th St. in Louisville. Admission is $25, which includes morning coffee and pastries as well as lunch. Attendees will enjoy a number of Spotlight Speakers and panel sessions featuring local and regional businesswomen and leaders discussing such integral topics as overcoming obstacles, mentorship, growing your network and scaling your business.

The event also provides opportunities for small business owners to network with small business resource providers, lending institutions, and other local and regional entrepreneurs.

The WBC, supported by the SBA and Community Ventures, is pleased to partner with Truist, Biscuit Lounge & Barry ‘Woosley’, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, PNC, and Chanel Nicole Photography to present the 2025 Women in Business Expo.
